NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Muslim Arts College actively promotes social responsibility, community engagement, and civic awareness among students. Functioning under the guidance of its Coordinators, Dr. N. Rajeswari, Dr. T. Kumaran, and Mr. H. Jerlin, the unit encourages students to participate in meaningful service activities.

The NSS unit regularly organizes initiatives focusing on health and hygiene, environmental protection, road safety, and community welfare. Through various awareness programmes, cleanliness drives, and outreach activities, students are given opportunities to engage with society and contribute to nation-building.

The unit also conducts camps and collaborative activities with local organizations, providing students with practical exposure to social issues and community development. These experiences help in nurturing leadership qualities, teamwork, discipline, and a strong sense of civic responsibility.
