About the College

Muslim Arts College is an outstanding institution committed to student success in Higher Education in Kanyakumari Educational District. Founded on July 5, 1982, the college was established to fulfil a long-felt need of the Muslim Educational Society (MES) of Kanyakumari District — to provide equal opportunity and access to the Muslim minority community.

The college gives prime importance to the education of rural students who are socially and financially backward. This great abode of learning caters to the educational needs of students from various backgrounds, fostering inclusivity and academic excellence within a tranquil, harmonious and peaceful campus environment that is conducive to academic studies and research activities.

The college provides relevant programmes that are learner-centred, skill-based, job-oriented, and value-based — offering opportunities for research of an international caliber, aligned to the evolving needs of students.

Our Journey

1982
Founded at Madhavalayam on July 5 by MES, Kanyakumari District — began with B.Com, B.A. History, B.A. Tamil and B.Sc Mathematics.
1984
Affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. New UG and PG programmes gradually added across disciplines.
1990
Re-affiliated to the newly established Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli.
Today
NAAC B+ accredited. AICTE-approved MBA. 48 programmes across UG, PG & Ph.D. disciplines.
